TOPSOIL, GARDEN SOIL, COMPOST
Topsoil
Screened topsoil, free of stones, is ideal for lawns and gardens. For lawns, a thickness of 4 to 6 inches is recommended to help retain moisture and create a thriving growing environment. For new garden beds, a depth of 12 inches is sufficient when establishing new areas.
Garden Soil
A great light mixture perfect for raised planters and as an additive for existing gardens, whether they consist of vegetables, perennials, or shrubs.
Compost
A great additive for enhancing your garden is to mix this into your existing soil for optimal results.
MULCHES
Black Dyed
Most popular! Premium mulch colour lasts 2-3 years.
Brown Dyed
Rich brown mulch can help suppress weeds, retain moisture, and enhance the backdrop for plant colors.
Natural Spruce/Pine
Ideal for woodland areas and low-maintenance spaces, it fades to a silvery grey over time. As with all mulches, stirring it lightly a couple of times each month helps keep it looking fresh.

GRAVELS / CLEAR STONE
Gravels come in two main types: compaction gravel (a mix of variable sizes) and drainage stone (generally one clear or washed size). Contact us if you're unsure which type is best for your project.
COMPACTION GRAVELS
(ALL CRUSHED MATERIALS)
These gravels are primarily used when a strong foundation is needed. Their variable particle sizes allow them to interlock when compacted or driven over. They are ideal for patio bases, walkways, driveways, and many other applications.
Cement Gravel
This material is used for mixing cement and is small enough to serve as a walking surface as well.
Red 0-1-¼”
A popular compacting gravel for the base of baby barns, paver walkways, under concrete, and driveways. It has excellent compaction properties.
Red 0-¾”
This product is slightly smaller, making it easy to work with and ideal for walkways.
Red 3/8”
Screenings are an excellent base material for pool pads, as well as for topping walkways and driveways.
Blue 0-¾” Construction Grade
Limestone is ideal for driveway toppings, base material under pavers, or cement surfaces.
Blue ¼” Minus
Fine sand compacts well for walkways, driveways, and the thin layer under pavers and patio blocks. It is also a nice leveling product for pool bases.
White (Salt and Pepper) 0-¾”
Compactable material in a mix of white and grey tones, often used as accents in gardens, between patio blocks, or as drip edges around homes.
DRAINAGE STONE
(CLEAR PRODUCTS NO FINES)
Gravels are commonly used when effective drainage is desired. These products typically have a consistent size and are often washed to remove fines, which helps prevent settling once installed. They work well when placed over a fabric covering, as this combination is less prone to weed growth.
Drain Rock ¾”-1-¼”
Washed perfect stone is ideal for backfilling foundation drain pipes, constructing retaining walls, creating drip edges around foundations, and installing French drains. It is our most popular drainage product.
Drain Rock ¼”-¾”
Washed, it has great drainage ability, a soft round texture, and is easy to work with. It possesses the same capabilities as its larger counterpart, the 3/4”-1”-¼”, just in a smaller size.
Blue ½” Clear
Customers often choose this nice blue tone for visibility, especially under decks for a dry surface, drip edges, and more.
Pea Stone 3/8”
Ideal for placement around drain pipes, between spaced patio blocks, or in any area where you want a contrasting texture with another stone.
Mason Sand
We offer the finest playground sand available. It has a soft, round texture that is perfect for play.
White (Salt and Pepper)
The best playground sand available. It has a soft and smooth texture.
R-5 Stone 5-8”
Primarily used to stabilize slopes, culvert openings, or in severe cases, placed in very wet areas to create a solid base.
R5 Stone 3-5”
Ideal for covering slopes as well; easy to handle, and typically placed over landscape fabric for a low-maintenance area.
LANDSCAPE FABRIC
Heavy Cloth 270 R (6’ or 12.5’ rolls)
Ideal for retaining walls, garden covers, and water-permeable surfaces.
Woven 340 R
Used for ground support in areas with inadequate subsoil, it is placed before base gravel is installed and compacted.
Grid
Open grid ground stabilization is required for extra support under gravel bases.
PAVERS
Stabilizing Sand
Polymeric sand for paver joints, available in grey or tan, helps keep brick joints full and minimizes weed growth in pavers. A little goes a long way for walkway maintenance.
10” Spikes
Ardox spiral spikes are available for purchase individually or by the box.
PVC Paver Edge Restraints
The length is 7.5 feet for stabilizing the paver edge.
